KEEP IT SHIELDED

Close your curtains or blinds after dark and use shielded, cut-off fixtures or vegetation to cover lightbulbs and direct light downward.

KEEP IT LOW

Use a low mounting height, downlighting and lower bulb wattage or amber LEDs.

KEEP IT LONG

Use red, amber, yellow, or warm lightbulbs and color filters. Sea turtles and other wildlife are less disturbed by these longer wavelengths of light!

KEEP IT EFFICIENT

Don't leave your lights on all night. Use motion-sensor lights instead. Use AC unit with a timer or smart controller and upgrade to energy efficient appliances whenever possible.
