NOSARA RECYCLES

The Nosara Recycling Association provides recycling collection service throughout the greater Nosara area. You can find the details of the different routes on their website. Items for recycling must be clean and dry (especially the cardboard) and placed in a transparent bag in a visible place on the side of the road the day before or before 7am on the day of collection.

Plastics #1 (bottles)

Plastics #4 (non-metallic plastic bags)
Aluminum cans
Tin cans and other metals
Glass of all colors
Clean and flattened cardboard
Clean and flattened TetrapakTetrapak/brik

The Nosara Recycling Center receives volunteers from Monday to Saturday from 8am to 12pm. You must send a WhatsApp message at least one day prior to reserve your space. Follow Nosara Recycles on Facebook and Instagram to learn more about community cleanups, beach cleanups, collection campaigns, etc.

The Precious Plastics Nosara program is a collaboration with the Nosara Recycling Association and the Wildlife Conservation Association to recycle plastic into products that will be sold to ensure ongoing recycling in our community.
