PICK-UP SCHEDULES 
& ROUTES

The Nosara Recycling Association provides recycling collection service throughout the greater Nosara area. You can find the details of the different routes on their website. Items for recycling must be clean and dry (especially the cardboard) and placed in a transparent bag in a visible place on the side of the road the day before or before 7am on the day of collection.

MATERIALS

Plastics #1 (bottles)
Plastics #2 (gallons)
Plastics #4 (non-metallic plastic bags)
Aluminum cans

RECYCLING SERVICES CHARGES

VOLUNTEERING
OPPORTUNITIES

Nosara Recicla holds Volunteer Days on the second Thursday of the month from 8:00-11:00am. In addition, volunteers are welcome Monday through Saturday from 8:00-11:00am by prior arrangement.

The Precious Plastics Nosara program is a collaboration with the Nosara Recycling Association and the Wildlife Conservation Association to recycle plastic into products that will be sold to ensure ongoing recycling in our community.
